How a telecom bill audit works
- Send your bills. Your latest bill from every phone, internet, wireless and copper line provider, with every page. Add any contracts or quotes you have.
- We build your inventory. Every account, line, circuit, phone number and device, matched to the location it serves.
- We check every charge. Each one is compared with what you actually use and what you agreed to pay.
- You get findings and options. What to cancel, what to dispute, what to renegotiate and what to replace, in plain English.
- We help you act. Credit requests, cancellations, renegotiation or a switch, coordinated so nothing that matters goes dark.
Signs your bills need a review
- The total went up and nobody changed anything.
- Nobody can say what every phone number on the bill is for.
- You moved, closed or opened a location in the last few years.
- Your contract ended and you never signed a new one. Month to month rates are often higher.
- You still pay for copper phone lines for alarms, elevators or fax machines.
- Each location gets its own bills and nobody sees them all together.
Check your renewal date before anything else
Many business contracts renew automatically unless you give notice, often 30 to 90 days before the end date. Find your end date and notice window first. An audit three to six months before renewal gives you time to compare options and negotiate while you still have leverage.
Keep what you have when it fits. Not every audit ends in a switch. Sometimes the best result is a corrected bill and a better rate from the provider you already use.
