Two fiber networks almost everywhere
Raymore is one of the best covered cities on the south side for fiber. The FCC map shows Google Fiber at about 96 percent of locations and AT&T at about 80 percent. For most shops and offices, that means two fiber providers competing for the business.
The cable company is Xfinity, which reports service at nearly every location, with Spectrum only in a small slice of the city. Xfinity cable makes a natural backup line for a business on fiber, because it runs on a completely separate network.
Co-op fiber at the edges
Out at the edges of Raymore, the FCC map also shows Conexon Connect, a company that builds and runs fiber networks with rural electric cooperatives. It reports a small footprint here, but it is worth checking if your business sits on the rural side of town, where the big networks may not reach yet. Fixed wireless from Wisper, which reports coverage at every Raymore location, is another option there.
What a typical Raymore setup looks like
- Main line: Google Fiber or AT&T fiber, chosen on price, terms and install date.
- Backup: Xfinity cable or 5G with automatic failover.
- Phones: a cloud phone system that keeps your number and rings cell phones if the office is offline.
- Larger sites: dedicated internet with a service level agreement.
About the provider data. The network list on this page comes from the FCC’s Broadband Data Collection (availability as of December 2025). The FCC counts a provider as available in an area when it reports it can serve locations there, so a network on the map may still need to build to your building. We check each one at your address before you compare prices.
